Introduction

Current Status

The final report to M403 Phase 1 has been approved by the three European Standardisation Organisations and has been submitted to the European Commission for formal approval.

At the moment, NEN and the former project team are working in preparation of Phase 2. On 11^th February 2009, a Workshop was organized for a number of major stakeholders to discuss the recommendations of the report to Phase 1 and to prepare proposals for Phase 2. A short meeting report and all presentations have been published on this website.

The European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) are the three officially responsible European standardization bodies that help shape the European Internal Market.
